This hands on nature cruise invites you to explore the river beyond the shoreline, immersing you in its waterways and working oyster farms. Guests enjoy bush tucker inspired morning tea before taking part in interactive activities including yabby pumping, fishing and hauling crab pots.  Designed for easy handling and comfort, the BBQ Pontoon seats up to 8 guests and lets you take the helm. Your experience includes a picnic and welcome drink on arrival + a warm hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows later un the evening. Using a staff operated telescope, guests are guided through the visible wonders above — from planets and star clusters to the constellations of the season.  Join us on the 18th April for a photography workshop aboard Tweed Eco Cruises, guided by the talented Matthew from Pro Media Pix! Set against the breathtaking scenery of the Tweed River and surrounding rainforest, this relaxed and interactive session is perfect for beginners and hobby photographers who want to move beyond auto mode and start capturing more confident, creative images. As we cruise along the river, Matthew will guide you through practical techniques for photographing river landscapes, rainforest scenery, and local wildlife. You’ll learn how to work with natural light, compose stronger images, and capture the atmosphere of the Tweed, from lush green riverbanks to glowing reflections on the water.

Begin your afternoon with a guided walk through the Potager kitchen garden, where the story of each dish begins. Arrive at 11:30am and enjoy a welcome drink — choose from house wine, local beer, soft drink or juice — before joining us at 11:40am for a 20-minute garden tour. Learn about the seasonal produce, sustainable practices and the ingredients that shape our menu. At 12:00pm, take your seat for a curated long lunch. Choose either two or three courses from our seasonal à la carte menu, accompanied by a chef-selected garden side for each guest. Rooted in the tradition of the French kitchen garden, this intimate experience brings you closer to the land, the produce and the plate.
